Elks entering Week 12 bye

EDMONTON – The Edmonton Elks have released wide receiver Hunter Karl and linebacker Brandon Pittman from the club's practice roster.

Karl was in his first season with the Elks after being selected by Edmonton in the seventh round of the 2019 CFL Draft. He appeared in four games for the Green and Gold this season.

Pittman was in his third season with the Elks after spending both 2018 and 2019 with the team. He appeared in two games in 2018, before spending 2019 on the practice roster. This season in four games, he recorded three special teams tackles.

Edmonton returns to the field on Friday, October 29 when they host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.
