EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks announced Monday the signings of National Greg Hutchins (K) and Americans Trayone Gray (RB) and Denzel Washington (DB).

Bonner was released by the B.C. Lions on Sept. 21 after suiting up for 10 games this season with the Lions, recording five tackles and two sacks. The Alabama native appeared in 13 games for B.C. in 2021, where he registered 22 tackles, five sacks and one forced fumble.

Collegiately, Bonner spent a season with East Mississippi before moving on to play his final three seasons of eligibility with Florida Atlantic Owls (2017-19), a mid-major Division I program. He played in 38 games for the Owls, finishing his career with 58 tackles, eight sacks and two forced fumbles. He also starred in the Netflix documentary series Last Chance U.

Jackson played four seasons at Florida State (2016-19), where he racked up 154 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one interception and one forced fumble in 36 games for the Seminoles. A four-star powerful inside linebacker prospect, Jackson was one of the top inside linebacker prospects in the nation and rated as a consensus Top 5 recruit at the position.

Wright spent five seasons with the Alabama Crimson Tide (2017-21), earning two College Football Playoff National Championships (2017 and 2020) and three Southeastern Conference titles (2018, 2020, 2021). The Florida native recorded 115 tackles, one sack, two interceptions and 10 pass knockdowns in 58 games for the Tide.

In addition, the Elks released Stefan Claiborne (DB), Nathaniel Evans (LB), and Ethan Makonzo (DB).

The Elks return to action on Saturday, Oct. 1, when they take on the Montreal Alouettes at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m. MDT.
