EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks announced Tuesday that it has released American running back Devin Wynn.

Wynn did not see any game action with the Elks after being signed by Edmonton on July 29. The Greensboro, Ga., native is in his first year of pro football after playing 50 games over five college seasons at Furman University.

The Elks return to action on Saturday when they host the Saskatchewan Roughriders at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m.
