Edmonton preparing for the Labour Day Rematch

EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks announced Wednesday that they have released American Jachai Polite (DL).

Polite, 25, signed back on August 10, appearing in three games for the Double E, recording one tackle against the Ottawa RedBlacks in Week 11.

The Elks return to action on Saturday when they host the Calgary Stampeders at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium for the annual Labour Day rematch. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
