Rookie DL Burton-Krahn moved to practice roster

EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks have released American Caleb Tannor (LB) and National Danny Vandervoort (WR), the club announced Sunday. Both players had been on the practice roster.

Tannor was signed to the practice roster on Aug. 13. The former University of Nebraska linebacker did not suit up for any games with the Green and Gold.

Vandervoort returned to the Elks for his most recent stint with the club when he was signed to the practice roster on Sept. 11. The veteran receiver has appeared in 32 games for the Green and Gold over the last three seasons.

In addition, the Elks have moved National Luke Burton-Krahn (DL) from the six-game injured list to the practice roster. The 23rd overall pick by the Elks in the 2023 CFL Draft, Burton-Krahn has appeared in three games with Edmonton this season.

Following a bye in Week 17, the Elks will return to action against the Toronto Argonauts at BMO Field on Oct. 6 at 5:00 p.m. MT.
