TRANSACTIONS | Elks make moves prior to game in Montreal
Canadian quarterback Beaudry added to active roster
EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks announced a series of transactions on Tuesday, ahead of their road game against the Montreal Alouettes at Percival Molson Stadium on Thursday.
Canadian quarterback Mike Beaudry was signed and added to the active roster. Beaudry, who was has spent previous stints on Edmonton's practice roster, will dress for his first CFL regular season game, in Montreal.
D'Antne Demery was signed and moved to Edmonton's practice roster. The American offensive lineman spent time in Elks training camp before being released during the pre-season. Demery has appeared in one game in his CFL career, with Edmonton last season.
Additionally, the Elks placed Canadian offensive lineman Nicholas Summach on the suspended list. Edmonton's seventh round pick in the 2020 Draft has spent this entire season on the practice roster.
The Elks will travel to Montreal on Wednesday. Kickoff on Thursday is set for 5:30 p.m. MDT.
