Edmonton begins prep for Week 9 match-up vs. Lions

EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks announced Friday the release of six players from the practice roster, four players from the active roster, and one from the suspended list.

The roster moves come as the Elks wrap up their bye week during Week 8 and begin preparation for their Week 9 match-up against the B.C. Lions at B.C. Place Stadium on Aug. 6.

Edmonton's next home game is Aug. 13 when the Elks host the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
