EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks announced Monday they have acquired WR Llevi Noel and the Ottawa RedBlack's eighth round pick in the 2023 draft in exchange for the lower of Edmonton's 2023 seventh round pick or the Hamilton Tiger-Cats' 2023 seventh round pick. Edmonton acquired Hamilton's 2023 seventh round pick in a trade last month.

Noel was selected in the fourth round, 31st overall, of the 2016 CFL Draft. The Toronto native played five seasons with the Argos (2016-21), recording 82 receptions for 869 yards and four touchdowns, while adding 79 special teams tackles.

This season Noel suited up in six games with the Ottawa Redblacks.

The Edmonton Elks are on their bye week and return to action on August 6, when they take on the Lions at BC Place Stadium.
