EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks have signed American Marcus Willoughby (DE), the club announced Monday. ​

Willoughby played four seasons (2016-19) at Elon University, where he recorded 224 total tackles, 16.5 sacks and three forced fumbles in 43 career games and earned Second Team All-CAA (Colonial Athletic Association) Football honours in his senior season.

The North Carolina native signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent following the 2020 NFL draft and was later signed to the New Orleans Saints practice squad in September of 2020.
