Green and Gold prepare for match-up with Lions

EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks have released American Ja'Von Hicks (DB) from the practice roster, the club announced Thursday.

The Cincinnati product signed with the Elks on Sept. 18. Hicks played five seasons at the University of Cincinnati (2018-22).

The Elks return to action on Friday, when they take on the BC Lions at Commonwealth Stadium at 7:30 p.m. MT.
