Edmonton trades rights to Kevin Francis (LB) to Ottawa
EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks are acquiring a fourth round pick in the 2024 CFL Draft from the Ottawa Redblacks for the playing rights to National linebacker Kevin Francis in a trade announced Tuesday. The pick will be the highest of Ottawa's selections in the fourth round of the 2024 Draft.

The Toronto native played in 18 games with the BC Lions in 2022, when he led the CFL with 22 special teams tackles.
Edmonton returns to action on Thursday, when the Elks travel to Regina to take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders at Mosaic Stadium. Kickoff is 7 p.m. MT.
