Elks scrimmage set for Sunday, July 25

Training camp enters home stretch ahead of Aug. 7 opener

EDMONTON – The Edmonton Elks are set to take the field Sunday for the team's first scrimmage of training camp.

Please see the following details for media attending the scrimmage at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.


  • Pre-scrimmage warm up
    • 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
  • Scrimmage
    • 11:50 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Media availability
    • Immediately following the scrimmage, in-person at field level

NOTE: A reminder that any media planning to attend in-person media availabilities must show proof of full vaccination, and be masked at all times. Designated spots will be provided to ensure social distancing.


Media can park in LOT A (NW corner of stadium) and must enter The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium using GATE 7.

Security will grant access 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.


Media are able to watch training camp from E0 (suite), or SECTION Z (stands).

Camera operators and photographers are able to shoot from anywhere in the lower bowl on the East side of the stadium.

Media are required to wear masks while in E0, but are not required to when viewing from section Z.
